Terms of Service

1. Agreement and authority

These Terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the Arkmetry service. By creating an account or using the hosted service, you agree to them. If you use Arkmetry for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for that organisation. You must be legally able to enter this agreement.

2. Accounts and workspaces

Give accurate account information, protect your credentials, and tell us promptly at support@arkmetry.com if you suspect unauthorised access. Workspace owners and administrators control membership and roles within their workspace. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.

3. The service and usage limits

Arkmetry provides tools for storing, reviewing, comparing, extracting and discussing construction documents. Features, storage, upload and AI allowances may be limited by the plan or caps shown in the product. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the service, other workspaces and operating costs. A preview, beta or free feature may change or end.

Project Memory counts physical/source pages newly processed and retained as reusable project understanding. A new document revision counts as new pages; internal retries of the same version do not count twice. Failed pages do not consume permanent allowance. Deleting retained pages does not refund processing already used. Monthly Project Memory and AI Use allowances reset together at the start of each UTC calendar month. Retained Project Memory and storage do not reset. One AI Use is one deliberate AI task requested by a user, across Arkmetry tools; internal steps, retries and provider calls do not consume additional AI Uses. Free starter AI Uses are a one-time allowance. Company packages pool Project Memory processing, AI Uses and storage across their workspace.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of documents, text, instructions and other content you submit. You give Arkmetry a limited right to host, copy, process, transmit, back up and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and allow this processing.

Do not upload personal, confidential, regulated or third-party material unless your organisation has authorised you to do so and its use in a cloud service is permitted. Workspace users may be able to access content according to their assigned role and project access.

5. AI and automated output

Arkmetry can classify documents, extract information, answer questions and propose actions using automated systems. These outputs can be incomplete or wrong. References and previews help you check them, but do not turn generated output into verified professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

7. Arkmetry materials

Arkmetry and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, interface, branding and documentation. These Terms let you use the service; they do not transfer those rights. Feedback may be used to improve Arkmetry without an obligation to you, but it will not transfer ownership of your content.

8. Third-party services

Arkmetry depends on infrastructure, storage, email, document-processing and cloud AI providers. Their availability can affect the service. If Arkmetry links to a separate third-party product, your use of that product is governed by its own terms.

9. Availability, changes and suspension

We aim to operate Arkmetry reliably, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages and launch-stage changes can interrupt features. We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment where a paid plan applies, or respond to a serious or repeated breach of these Terms.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Arkmetry at any time. Contact support@arkmetry.com for an account or workspace closure request. Workspace content may be controlled by the organisation that owns the workspace, and some records may be kept for security, backup, legal or dispute-resolution purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Consumer rights and disclaimers

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, the service is provided on an “as available” basis and Arkmetry does not guarantee that automated output is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular project or decision.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arkmetry is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity, or loss caused by relying on unverified automated output. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, or to loss caused by fraud or wilful misconduct.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the new effective date and, when a change is material, provide reasonable notice in the service or by email. Changes do not remove rights that cannot be removed by law.
